With the bone - In Israeli it will be referred as Asado. Without the bone - Shpundra or Kashtit. In the US - If the cut is made across the ribs instead of between the ribs, the result will be called Flanken Cut Short Ribs, Kosher Ribs or just Flanken. This cut is about 40% fat, very flavorful and works the best when slow-cooked - braised, roasted, smoked or grilled.
