This is a very versatile cut, it is a lean, soft cut with bold flavor. It can be roasted, pan friend, braised and stewed. If aged appropriately it can be made into steaks (Rump Steaks), commonly thinly sliced. Beware of overcooking this one - as it's not very fatty and there's almost no connective tissue on it, it might dry out.
